Parent Council

What is Parent Council?

The Parent Council is a forum for parents and head teacher to talk about any issues concerning the collective welfare and education of Brooklands' pupils.  The sort of topics discussed are: school uniforms, road safety, homework, grounds, class trips, school lunches etc.  Two parents from each class volunteer (on a yearly basis) to attend the once-per-term meetings on behalf of the other class parents and report back via email.  As well, parents can chat to their class rep who will pass on ideas or concerns to the council.  This arrangement creates a network of strong communication links between the parents and school.

For more information, parents should log into our Fronter page ( using the VLE login box on the right hand side of the Home page on this school web site)
